Medieval Fair upcoming at Emmanuel

A Medieval Fair has been scheduled at Emmanuel Episcopal Church in Shawnee at 6 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 25.
A meal will be served, and the entertainment includes the All About Irish dancers and the Rev. Stephanie Swinnea, an Episcopal priest and author. She will sing and perform medieval instruments.
The All About Irish dancers range in age from 10 to adult and are from Shawnee, Meeker and Tecumseh. They are under the direction of Diana Rodgers and began performing in 2004.
Medieval costumes are welcomed but not required.
Tickets are $12 and can be purchased from Emmanuel members or in the church office. Emmanuel is on the corner of Broadway and Highland. For more information, call 273-1374.
Proceeds go to programs of the church’s outreach committee.
