Professor to lead worship

Music professor Max Lyall will lead worship with a presentation of traditional hymns at 10:45 a.m. Sunday at New Beginnings Church, 1203 E. 42nd St., Shawnee.
Lyall is a concert pianist and co-minister of music at First Baptist Church in Oklahoma City. He is a graduate of Oklahoma Baptist University in Shawnee and taught for many years at Golden Gate Theological Seminary in California. He also has traveled the world as the accompanist for the Singing Churchmen of California.
Also Sunday, members of the International Students Bible Class will sing, show pictures and tell about Christian churches in South Korea. The class includes people who are from Korea, Brazil, Taiwan and America.
The public is invited to Sunday’s activities. Larry Sparks, pastor, and Mike Taylor will lead the services and teach Bible classes. Call 214-9422 for more information.
