The Rev. Chris Carter has been named interim pastor at Blackburn Chapel Baptist Church in Bethel Acres.
He and his family, which includes Chris, Angie, Colton, Jacey and Carley, live in Lexington.
Blackburn Chapel offers Sunday school for all ages at 9:45 a.m. and morning worship at 10:50 a.m.
