Darrell Archer and family were guest performers July 11 for the Golden Hearts luncheon at Fairview Baptist Church in Shawnee. Golden Hearts is the senior citizen group of the church.
Archer has written more than 2,000 songs, both words and music, and has recorded many solo albums. His four children performed individually and together. The songs were written or arranged for them by their father. The children are Devan, 9, Dara, 7, Dorian, 5, and Darina, 4.
The next luncheon is 11 a.m. Aug. 1. For more information, call 273-8709.
