Shawnee’s First Baptist Church recently honored its members who are 85 and older and who have birthdays in June, July, August and September. The event featured a birthday dinner and cake with the church family. The tables of the honorees were specially decorated, and the church sang “Happy Birthday.” Cake was delivered to those who couldn’t attend, including M.W. and Nelda Stallings and Lula Stonebraker.
