Good trash service
This in response to “grateful for trash service.” The person does have good trash service. If ours sees you pulling your polycart to the street or it’s not there in time for him, you can pull your polycart down the street and they will continue to drive off watching you.
Not invited?
I understand Dr. Joe Taron with PCDA was not invited to some of the working sessions on the Wes Watkins contract between Shawnee and Tecumseh. That is why there is confusion in the language on the water line.
Scoopie’s response: This is what we’ve been advised as well. In addition to him and the PCDA being left out of the discussions, the local attorneys for the city of Shawnee and the PCDA also were left out.
Misspent time?
I would like to know why the parks department is spending time reinforcing privately owned horses in Shawnee instead of taking care of the city’s parks that have fallen into disrepair.

It’s a shame
It’s a shame about the YMCA. I remember going there on a day pass when I was young because it was the only way I could go. Now, it seems there is nothing for children that doesn’t have a hefty price.
