What is on my facuets?
I was wondering if anyone could tell me what this accumulation on my screens on my faucets, water faucets, what that may be. I don’t know if it comes from the pipes. It’s a little white granule thing and it will restrict the flow of the water.
Shawnee, where’s your pride?
Having lived outside of Shawnee for many years, I’ve recently returned. Last week, I attended a graveside service at Fairview Cemetery. Guess what? Same ole Shawnee. Welcome home, son. Grass was eight to 10 inches high, headstones knocked over. It was embarrassing...Shawnee, where’s your pride?
Enrollment stressful, staff excellent
In regard to enrollment today for the Shawnee Public Schools at the new high school. I will have to say, yes it was very stressful for us parents but the staff was excellent. We were all taken care of with the most respect and pat on our backs and all, we were very happy. I just wanted to say thank you, that they did a good job.
Homemade yard sale sign stolen
This message is for the sorry individual who stole our yard sale sign out on 177 somewhere between Saturday and Sunday. My daughters, ages 7 and 9, made that. If you really need a sign that bad, that colorful, we can probably make you one. Live with that.
