About our beautiful horses: I guess we need a sign on each saying, “Bought With Private Funds For the Beautification of Shawnee.” But, oh, I forgot, they can’t seem to read that printed over and over again in the News-Star. Get a life.

Like the new format
I just wanted to say that I really like the new format of the newspaper. It’s easy to read and looks great. And, also thank you for the good sports coverage you give to the Dale fall baseball and softball programs.

Excited about rail system
I just want to say that I am excited about the possibility of a rail system in Shawnee all the way to Oklahoma City. That would be wonderful for all the people who have to commute. I think that would be a great thing for our town. Also, I think that the horses are quite beautiful, and I think it’s really a shame that people would actually call in and say that they’re ugly. Somebody actually painted that and that is their work of art, and that is just a cruel thing to say to anybody. They should be ashamed of themselves.

Please fix road
Please, county commissioner, somebody, fix the road correctly between Lake Road and Independence on Drummond. You put a few patches in and we have, like, 150 holes in the street. I would appreciate it.
