ADA – Ramey Harrison put up 27 points Thursday to lead Shawnee to a 76-69 win over Durant in the Wolves' opener of the Ada tournament.

With Shawnee leading 13-12 at the end of the first, Harrison caught fire in the second, scoring 18 of the Wolves second quarter points to go into the half with a 38-27 lead.

Shawnee kept the advantage after the break, returning with a 24-14 run as Harrison contributed six more and LJ McKissick put in seven, and the team held off a comeback in the fourth to seal the win.

Shawn Willis and Brayden McGinnis each had 10 points for the Wolves and McKissick finished with nine.

The Wolves face Sapulpa Friday at 5 for their semifinal game.
