Prague inflicted last-second loss

HOLDENVILLE — A Holdenville free throw with :07 remaining dealt Prague’s girls a 37-36 defeat Tuesday night.

Following the charity toss, Prague missed a 2-point field goal attempt to end the game.

Prague led 7-1 after one quarter but trailed 19-16 at the intermission.

Macyn Anderson knocked down three shots from 3-point range to lead Prague with 12 points. Ella Schultz added 9.

Prague was 8 of 14 from the free-throw line while Holdenville was 3 of 8.

Adisyn Auld of Prague recorded one 3-point FG.

Prague will play Friday night at Chandler.

Red Devils suffer second loss

HOLDENVILLE — Propelled by a 28-point outing by Shing West, Holdenville ripped Prague 60-38 Tuesday night.

Holdenville was never seriously pressed after storming to a 30-11 halftime advantage.

Tristin Jorgensen, Ray Embry and Matt Headley notched 7 points apiece for the visiting Red Devils.

Prague (9-2) was 8 of 18 from the charity stripe. Holdenville was 9 of 15.

Connor Williams, Jorgensen and Headley had a trey apiece.

Prague will play Friday night at Chandler.
