SHAWNEE – Oklahoma Baptist never trailed but never shook Henderson State in an 85-81 Lady Bison win Thursday in the Noble Complex.

OBU was in foul trouble most of the evening but was able to use late free throws to put the game away.

Tasha Edge scored 24 points, including 12 free throws in 13 attempts and narrowly missed a double-double, hauling in nine rebounds.

Cameerah Graves, in her first game back from injury, made two crucial free throws with five seconds left to ice the game after Edge had made two with 12 seconds to go to keep the Reddies at bay.

Autumn Avina added 19 points and led the team with five assists.

Lexi Williams got three steals to lead the team in that category.

The Lady Bison resume play Saturday against Ouachita Baptist at 1 p.m.
