The Professional Bowlers Association has made a revision to this week's PBA Tournament of Champion's schedule at FireLake due to logistical issues that delayed a semi-trailer transporting inventory and equipment for some of the bowlers from last weeks' Barbasol PBA Players Championship in Columbus, Ohio to Shawnee, the PBA said in a press release Monday.

“The FireLake PBA Tournament of Champions is the PBA’s signature championship,” said PBA Deputy Commissioner Kirk von Krueger in the press release. “In order to provide our players, and our fans, with an event that meets the expectations of a major championship, we have made necessary adjustments in order to retain the integrity of the event.”

The schedule change will cause the practice session originallly scheduled for Monday at 1 p.m. to be moved to Tuesday at 1 and push back the start of the TOC to Wednesday.

The scheduling revision reduces the third qualifying round to seven games Friday down from eight and the the round of 24 will take place that evening. The final eight games of qualifying will take place Saturday morning at 9 to determine the five finalists.

PBA’s Xtra Frame live streaming coverage of the preliminary rounds will begin Wednesday and continue through Saturday’s final qualifying round. For subscription information and the adjusted schedule of live streaming broadcast times, visit pba.com (http://www.pba.com/Live) and xtraframe.tv.
