CARL ALBERT – A great start gave Shawnee hope that they could upset the No. 1 team in 5A on their Homecoming Night.

Chase Morris nailed a three-pointer to start the game and drew a charge on Carl Albert's first possession. After Carson Meier scored to make it 5-0 early with the Titans already drawing four fouls, things were looking good.

But the Titans showed why they are No. 1 and scored 12 straight points to take a lead.

Carl Albert never looked back as they beat No. 6 Shawnee 79-51 Monday night.

The Wolves cut the lead to nine points at one point in the third quarter, but the Titans score quickly and in bunches. Several six and eight point runs put the Wolves away.

The Wolves host No. 20 Piedmont tonight on Senior Night.

Meier led the Wolves with 15 points, followed by Shaun Willis and Morris with six each. Tyler Hueber, LJ McKissick and Cody Parman all had five and Ramey Harrison added four.
