ASHER – Jake Dobbs earned his first pitching win of the season Friday and the Asher Indians downed Vanoss 18-9 to move to 4-2 on the season.

Dobbs replaced Junior Hasbell on the bump after the fourth inning, after Vanoss rallied with seven runs in the top of the fourth to take a 9-5 lead. Dobbs didn't give up any hits for the remaining three innings, struck out one and walked one. Hasbell walked two and whiffed three and gave up nine runs on eight hits as the starter.

The Indians rallied with three runs in the bottom of the fourth and tacked on five in the fifth and four in the sixth.

JR Milburn drove in three runs on two hits and cranked out a 2-run homer in the bottom of the third. Dylan Williams had three hits with a double and four RBIs.

The Indians travel to Amber-Pocasset Monday at 4.
