TECUMSEH – The Tecumseh Lady Savages earned a pair of run-rule wins Saturday with a 13-1 victory over Maud and 11-3 win over Leedy in the second day of the inaugural Tecumseh-Dale Festival.

The girls started the day with a four-inning run-ruling of Maud, wasting little time to get going with six runs in the bottom of the first.

Carly Scallorn Caitlin Bingham, Franki Hull, Kalie Johnson, Taylor Walker and Channing Scallorn got six straight hits to score five runs and Ashley Santino singled to bring in Channing Scallorn.

The girls added two runs in the third and five in the fourth, completing the game on a sacrifice from Skyler Shepherd.

Maud's only run of the game came in the top of the fourth, on an error in the outfield with two outs that allowed Jocee Sparks to score.

Walker and Channing Scallorn were each 3-for-3 in the game and Bingham and Hull had two hits each.

Carly and Channing Scallorn each tripled in the game for the Lady Savages and Hull, Bingham and Shepherd each doubled. Sparks earned the only extra base hit for the Lady Tigers with a double and went 2-2.

Bingham sent a two-run shot over the center field wall to get the Lady Savages on the board in the bottom of the first against Leedy. Suni Meely doubled to add two more and get a 5-0 advantage.

Leedy earned two runs in the fourth to make it a 7-2 game, but the Lady Savages fallied with four more in the bottom of the inning to counter.

Walker, Channing Scallorn, Meely and Bingham each drove in two runs and Channing went 3-3 at the plate. Walker was 2-3 and Carly Scallorn and Amanda Pierce were each 2-2.

The Lady Savages host Harrah at 5 p.m. Monday and will play Little Axe at 7.
