CHANDLER – The Bethel Wildcats held off a late surge by Ardmore Saturday to beat the Tigers 5-3 at the Mark Howard Memorial Tournament in Chandler.

Cameron Edgar led the way at the bats for the Wildcats, going 2-for-4 with a double and drove in one run. Clint Fitzgerald doubled and had an RBI, Brayden Diebold drove in one run and Josh Elmore doubled.

Ben Lauck threw for six innings and whiffed three and walked six. Diebold gave up one run on the mound.

The Wildcats travel to Oklahoma City Monday to face Harding Prep.
