WASHINGTON — Sophomore Delanie Manning continued her home run assault Monday as Dale collected victories over Washington (12-4) and Purcell (13-0).

Opposite Washington, Dale recorded 18 hits as the game was stopped on the run rule after six innings.

Delanie Manning homered her first three at-bats — a three-run shot, a solo effort and a two-run blast — before being walked in the sixth.

Senior sister Dani Manning stroked a double and two singles while Lauren Hood added two doubles and a single. Mikayla Rutland and Jobey Savage coillected three singles apiece.

Dale required only 2 ½ innings to dispose of Purcell after putting up 11 runs in the first inning.

Delanie Manning smashed a solo HR, her 10th roundtripper of the season, while Dani Manning had a home run and single.

Hood and Kaylee Lawson fashioned two singles apiece as Dale notched 10 hits in just two innings.

The Lady Pirates will take on Newcastle at 7..

Dale will participate in the Stonewall Tournament Thursday through Saturday.
