TECUMSEH — Class 6A second-ranked Tecumseh completed its week in fine fashion, blitzing Chandler (11-0) and Washington (9-3) Tuesday.

The Lady Savages needed just 4 ½ innings to dispose of Chandler. Carly Scallorn and Taylor Walker both went 3 for 3 to lead the 13-hit attack. Scallorn, with a triple and two singles, scored three times.

Walker's three singles resulted in two runs scored and two runs batted in.

Ashley Santino and Kalie Johnson recorded a double apiece while Franki Hull drove in three runs off two singles.

Tecumseh outhit Washington 18-9 as Scallorn, the leadoff hitter, and Hull, the three-hole hitter, both went 4 of 4, all singles.

Santino was 3 of 3, including a double, while Skyler Shepherd finished with two hits and drove in two runs.

Shepherd earned both pitching victories.

Tecumseh, 28-3, will play host to Davis at 5 p.m. Monday in a JV/varsity doubleheader.

The Lady Savages will host a 6A regional Tuesday, April 25. Tecumseh will open the proceedings at 10 a.m. versus Norman North, followed by Jenks-Cashe at 11:15.
