ROFF —Roff’s seven-run fifth inning was took much for Asher to handle Thursday night in an 11-6 loss at the Roff Tournament.

Asher led twice at 3-1 after one inning and 3-2 after three innings.

Starting Asher pitcher Trevor Martin, relegated to a 4 1/3 inning stint, surrendered 10 runs on seven hits. He struck out five and walked five. Reliever JR Hasbell gave up one run on three hits in a 2 3/3-inning outing. He fanned two and walked one.

Jake Dobbs had a banner day in defeat, going 4 of 4 with two home runs and four runs batted in.

Dylan Williamson and Michael McDonald recorded two singles apiece for Asher, which dropped to 3-3. Martin’s record was evened at 2-2.

Asher will continue Roff Tournament play today at 2:30 versus the loser of Thursday’s game between Latta and Wright City.
