PRAGUE — Down 5-0, Meeker rallied past Cushing 6-5 Thursday at the Prague Tournament.

Cushing led 5-0 after 2 ½ innings but Meeker struck for three runs in both the third and fourth innings before te game was called on a time-limit rule.

Kristen Park, Meeker’s three-hole hitter, went 3 for 3 with a home run, three runs batted in and two runs scored.

Aubrey Pruitt, Meeker’s leadoff hitter, scored two runs while Madison Hedge drove in a run.

Victorious pitcher Madison Gabeau, in four innings pitched, permitted five runs, only one of which was earned as Meeker errored twice.

Gabeau fanned one and walked one. She threw 61 pitches, 40 of which were strikes.

Four of Meeker’s six runs were unearned as Cushing committed four errors.

In its second contest of the day, Meeker dropped a 4-3 decision to Tushka in a five-inning contest.

Gabeau suffered the loss, permitting three hits, whiffing two and walking two.

Meeker had five hits — all singles from five players.
