ROFF — Blake McQuain and Drew Reed combined for a seven-inning 3-hitter Thursday as Dale upended Fort Cobb 4-2 at the Roff Tournament.

McQuain, in 5 2/3 innings, permitted two runs on three hits. He walked four and struck out one.

Reed, in 1 1/3 inning, didn’t allow a hit, fanned one and walked one.

Gant Hathcock and Bryce Crawford recorded a single and double apiece to pace Dale’s eight-hit attack.

Cooper Hunt also had a two-bagger.

Dale led 4-0 after three innings.

Hathcock scored twice while Crawford scored once and stole a base.

Scout Capps of Dale drove in two runs on a single and sacrifice fly.

Fort Cobb stranded eight runners as Dale committed three errors.

Dale (6-1) will continue tournament play at 5 p.m. today in a semifinal clash against Oktaha..
