Jordyn Zachary had a sparkling two-hit, 8-strikeout pitching performance Thursday as Bethel jolted Guthrie 5-0 at the Shawnee Tournament at FireLake.

Zachary didn’t walk a batter and chalked up a eight strikeouts in seven innings.

Bethel collected 14 hits as Karlie Lamb led the way at 3 of 4 with a double.

Five Lady Wildcats — Reanna McGowen, Maylin Hladik, Mya Green, Rayah Mayo and Zachary — racked up two hits with Green ripping a double.

Hladik stole four bases and Rian Gamble stole two. Bethel stranded 11 runners.

Bethel will continue tournament action at noon today by taking on Carl Albert on Field No. 1.
