CHANDLER — Top-ranked Dale remained undefeated Monday with a 3-1 victory over Chandler.

Hits were scarce as Dale posted three and Chandler had two in the seven-inning contest.

Dale scored twice in the top of the second. Skyler Thompson walked, moved to second on a Jobie Savage single, and both runners moved up on London Calvillo’s sacrifice bunt.

Lacey Savage delivered an RBI single up the middle, scoring Thompson, and Savage came home on Mikayla Rutland’s groundout to second.

Dale upped its lead to 3-0 in the fourth as Calvillo singled with one out, stole second and scored on an errant throw by the second sacker.

Chandler averted a shutout in the bottom of the fourth on a single, two groundouts and an infield boot.

Dale finished with two errors while Chandler had three.

“They have a pretty good pitcher,” Dale coach Andy Powell said.

Kylee Lynch of Chandler fanned eight in a losing cause.

Winning pitcher Rylie Premo, who went the first four innings, gave up the unearned run. She permitted two hits, fanned one and walked one.

Delanie Manning didn’t allow a hit over the final three innings. She struck out three and walked one.

Dale (13-0) will play at Durant Thursday, then compete Friday and Saturday at the Tushka Tournament.
