SHAWNEE- St. Gregory's women's soccer team (1-1) completely dominated Randall University for 89 of the 90 minutes in the game, but the Saints were able to score the games only goal with 8:29 left to play. Jessica Pancoast scored on a kick from just above the goalie's box, on a high ball that bounced off of the crossbar and into the net.

The Cavaliers controlled the ball for nearly the entire game, and kept the ball on the Randall side of the field for the vast majority of the contest. SGU took 29 total shots in the game, and 14 of those shots were on goal. The Saints only took 3 shots total, and their only shot on target, found its way into the net late in the game.

Madi Harris played solid in net for the Saints, as she finished the game with a 14 save, shutout.

Nathaly Lopez (JR/Cerritos, Calif.) took eight shots in the game, four of which were on target, and Hanna Arthur (FR/Yukon, Okla) also had four of her seven shots go on target. Concepcion Laborin (SO/Windsor, Calif.) took four shots in the contest and Veronica Trujillo (JR/Mckinney, Texas) took three shots.

St. Gregory's will be back in action on Friday, Sept. 1, when they take on Doane University at home, at 2 p.m.
