BOWLEGS – Maud couldn't force extra innings Thursday in a 5-4 walk-off loss to Bowlegs.

Tied at 4 in the bottom of the seventh, Bowlegs earned a walk-off double for the win.

The Lady Tigers fought back from being down 4-0 after the first two innings to tie up in the sixth. They tied up for a short time in the top of the seventh on a groundout from Jocee Sparks that scored Megan Willis.

Willis homered in the top of the third to get Maud on the board, Autumn Harrington had an RBI single in the fourth and Madison Whitman scored on an Aubrey Tuttle sacrifice in the sixth.

Bowlegs scored on a wild pitch by Jada Wright in the first and rallied with three runs in the second.

Willis and Sparks had two hits each and Sparks and Whitman each had a double. Tuttle was the only member of either squad to record a triple.

Wright was handed the loss after giving up four runs on three hits and was replaced by Jaycee Gamble in the third inning. Gamble gave up one run on two hits and walked four for the blown save.

Maud will play at Vanoss today at 4:30.
