PRAGUE — Adisyn Auld clubbed two home runs Tuesday as a pummeled Meeker 12-3.

Auld scored twice and drove in three runs.

Prague collected 12 hits, including a home run by Rachel Rumsey. Rumsey drove in three runs.

Three other Lady Red Devils — Macyn Anderson, Beth Denney and Brittany Harwell — collected two hits apiece. Anderson, who had a double, scored twice and drove in two runs. She also stole a base.

The game was stopped after 4 ½ innings on the eight-run rule. Prague tallied eight runs in the first inning.

Denney earned the pitching victory with a six-hitter. She recorded five strikeouts and walked one.

Kristen Park of Meeker went 3 for 3 with a solo home run and two singles. Teammate Darien Edmonds slammed a 2-run roundtripper.

Meeker starter Madison Gabeau went just one inning before being relieved by Brandi Lewis. Gabeau allowed eight runs, all unearned, as the Lady Bulldogs committed three errors.

Prague was errorless.

Meeker will launch McLoud Tournament play Thursday. Meeker will play two games on the Dale field — including top-ranked Dale at 11:30 a.m.

Prague will travel to Jones Friday for a 5 p.m. contest.
