Shawnee standout Jackson Winrow got his first college playing time in Vanderbilt's win Saturday.

Winrow graduated from Shawnee High School in 2016 and redshirted last season. Saturday, he caught one pass for 13 yards in the Commodores' 42-0 win over Alabama A&M.

Playing their home opener on a gorgeous afternoon in Nashville, the Commodores (2-0) set the tone early, scoring touchdowns on five of their first six possessions while storming out to a 35-0 halftime lead.

The win was Vanderbilt’s first victory in a home opener since 2011.
