BETHEL ACRES — A three-run rally in the bottom of the sixth inning allowed Bethel to scrape past Tecumseh 3-2 Monday.

Bethel trailed 2-0 in the sixth when Jordyn Zachary, Rayah Mayo and Brooklyn Giddens stroked RBI singles. Maylin Hladik, Mya Green and Peyton Meiler scored as Bethel upped its record to 17-10.

Giddens was Bethel’s only multiple hitter with two singles. Karlie Lamb recorded Bethel’s only extra-base hit with a double.

Zachary, the winning hurler, permitted four hits, including doubles by Annie Boatman and Baylee Kennedy. Kennedy went 2 for 3.

Zachary didn’t give up a base on balls and struck out 10. She threw first-pitch strikes to 18 of Tecumseh’s 27 batters.

Both Tecumseh runs were unearned as Bethel posted four errors.

Tecumseh will travel to Newcastle today for a 6:30 p.m. contest.

Bethel will engage Seminole at 5 p.m. today at Seminole. The Lady Wildcats will travel to Dale Thursday for a 4:30 p.m. encounter.
