The Lady Indians scored five runs in the third inning, with more than half coming on missteps from Maud. Braxton Frazier scored on a two-out error and Rayanna Cheatwood and Gracy Hadley both scored on passed balls.
The Lady Tigers got four runs back in the bottom of the third as Jocee Sparks hit a two-run blast, Autumn Harrington singled to score a run and Jaycee Gamble scored on an error. Madison Whitman added one more with a single in the fourth, but they were unable to cut deep enough into Asher's lead.
