Shawnee scored a run in the bottom of the eighth inning Friday to trim Harrah 6-5.
With the score tied at 5 entering the bottom of the eighth, Laynie Rimer led off with a single and advanced to second on Skyla Copeland’s single.
After both runners advanced when Hallie Wilson grounded out to the second baseman, Tatum Sparks singled off the centerfield wall to drive in Rimer with the winning run.
Sparks finished with two singles.
Baylie Enright, who pithched all eight innings for Shawnee, was credited with the victory.
Shawnee, 14-8, will entertain Glenpool for a 1 p.m. doubleheader today.
