OKLAHOMA CITY – Maylin Hladik was one hit away from throwing a perfect game Tuesday as Bethel shut out Bishop McGuinness in a five inning run rule for Bethel's final district contest.

Hladik fanned nine and gave up a single in the bottom of the second.

Karlie Lamb singled to drive in Rayanna McGowen and Hladik in the bottom of the first, Rayah Mayo singled to bring in two more runs, Lilla Wade grounded out to score Jordyn Zachary and Mayo scored on a passed ball.

Lamb doubled in the third to cap a four run inning in the third and three more runs scored in the fourth.

Lamb finished the game 3-3 and drove in three runs to lead the team, Mayo and Hladik each brought home two runs and McGowen had two hits. Skyler Fletcher, Wade and Lamb each doubled and Lamb hit a triple.
