Tecumseh was only able to score in one inning but pitcher Colbie Meeks and her defense made sure that was enough as the Lady Savages beat Seminole in district play Tuesday.

The game was scoreless at the halfway point, but Tecumseh finally broke through in the bottom of the fourth. Harley Sturm singled to bring in Taylor Walker and Annie Boatman. Baylee Kennedy had reached base after being hit by a pitch and Channing Scallorn drove her in with a single.

Seminole was able to score one run but the Lady Savages held on for the 3-1 win. Meeks got the win in the circle for Tecumseh.

The win secured third place in District 4A-4 behind Newcastle and Bethel and in front of Harrah.

The Lady Savages (18-9, 7-3) are back in action Thursday at Pauls Valley and return home Monday to face 3A No. 15 Chandler.
