MEEKER — In scores more befitting of a football matchup, Meeker bombarded Crooked Oak 14-0, 14-0 Thursday in a district tournament doubleheader.

Both games were stopped on the run rule.

The 3 ½-inning opener featured a 12-hit Meeker attack.

Kristen Park headed the offensive salvo at 3 of 3, including two doubles. She drove in two runs and scored once.

Compiling two hits apiece were Aubrey Pruitt, Kaycee Babek and Madison Gabeau. Madison Buoy and Gabeau posted a double apiece. Gabeau also stole two bases.

Buoy drove in a game-high three runs.

The second game, stopped after four innings, was highlighted by 10 hits, including a Babek triple. Zoe Schmasow, Callie Sellers, Madison Hedge, Gabeau Hedge and Park had doubles.

Madison Mason drove in three runs and scored twice.

Crooked Oak didn’t have a hit on the day as Gabeau earned both pitching victories. She fanned seen and didn’t give up a walk in seven innings. Mason worked one inning, fanning one.
