DALE — Coach Jerry Sanford and his Dale Pirates registered regional tournament triumphs over Arapaho (3-2) and Amber-Pocasset (10-0) Friday.

Against Arapaho, Dale scored all three of its runs in the bottom of the second.

Blake McQuain had two of Dale’s four hits.

Pitcher Jaxon Wright, who went the first six innings, earned the win. He gave up two runs on four hits while fanning four.

McQuain, who closed out the game in the seventh, didn’t surrender a hit and fanned two.

Dale’s second-game win took just 5 ½ innings. Winning hurler Cooper Hunt was touched for two hits, whiffed three and walked two.

Hunt also banged out a triple while Drew Reed doubled. Teammates David Herring and Carson Hunt achieved two singles apiece.
