PRAGUE – The Lady Devils of Prague notched three wins Saturday to win their regional tournament and earn a spot at the state tournament. They opened the day with a 5-2 win over Adair and followed with 2-0 and 12-6 wins over Antlers. Prague lost a 2-1 affair to Antlers Friday to force the three game rally in order to advance.

Taylor Hodges and Beth Denney each homered in the final win to give Prague the edge in the winner take all game.

Denney sent a two-run blast to left to give the Lady Devils the lead in the top of the first. Macyn Anderson drove in Karsyn Coleman on a single in the second and scored on an error in center.

Josi Goodman doubled to drive in Coleman and kick off a three-run rally in the sixth to go ahead 9-2.

Hodges led off the seventh with a homer, Anderson drove in a run on a sacrifice and Goodman scored on an error.

Goodman and Adisyn Auld each had three hits in the contest and Rachel Rumsey had two. Denney earned the win in the circle, fanning two and giving up 10 hits.

Denney doubled to score Goodman in the top of the first in the girls' first of the two games against Antlers and Goodman scored on an error to set up the winner take all game. Denney fanned six and walked one.

The Lady Devils narrowly fended off elimination in eight innings against Adair to start the day.

Rumsey led off the top of the seventh with a solo shot to give Prague their first run of the game and Coleman singled to drive in Hodges and tie the game at 2.

Rumsey took a bases loaded walk in the eight and Brittany Harwell and Hodges each singled to drive in a run.

Prague moves to 28-10 on the season with the wins and will move on to play in the state tournament to begin Thursday at the USA Hall of Fame Complex in Oklahoma City. Matchups and game times will be announced Monday.
