OKLAHOMA CITY — Junior Chabon Anderson ran for four touchdowns and threw for another Friday night as Chandler whipped Mount St. Mary 36-21 to earn a Class 3A playoff position.

Chandler and Mount St. Mary entered the night at 2-3 in District 3A-1 and the fourth and final playoff berth up for grabs.

After St. Mary took a 7-0 lead, Anderson connected with Trey Lewis on a 46-yard scoring pass, then hit Dylan McKinney with a 2-point conversion pass. Anderson added a 3-yard scoring run in the second quarter and the first half ended in a 14-14 tie.

In the closing half, Anderson recorded scoring runs of 9, 78 and 11 , and the Lion defense held St. Mary to one touchdown.

Chandler rushed for 221 yards on 42 carries while limiting the hosts to 98 rushing yards. St Mary accumulated 284 passing yards but threw two interceptions.

Chandler will carry a 3-7 record into the playoffs.
