SHAWNEE – The Shawnee boys 7th and 8th grade basketball teams won a pair of home games against El Reno Monday night. The 7th grade boys squeaked by 37-34 while the 8th graders dominated 48-33.

Landon Chaplin and Anthony Underwood scored nine points apiece to lead the seventh grade Wolves but the top performance of the day went to El Reno's Diante Palmer, who led all scorers with 27 points.

Jaylon Orange led Shawnee's 8th grade squad with 12 points, Daveon Mays had 11 and Fabian Pineda put up 10.

The boys will be back in action Thursday as they head to Guthrie for a road stand.
