Stargell scores 25, Wildcats beat Asher, 68-35 

ASHER – Elijah Stargell put up nearly half of Earlsboro's points in a 68-35 win over Asher Tuesday at Asher. Stargell completed the contest with 25 points to lead all scorers.

Kaveon Sharp had 14 points, eight rebounds and five assists, Lucky Bohannon had eight points and Garrett Lena put in seven. Trey Herron had four steals.

Cameron Grissom led Asher in scoring with seven points, Jake Dobbs had six with two 3-pointers and Chase Eckart had five.

Earlsboro (4-0) travels to Glencoe Friday and Asher will head to Wapanucka.

Big first half lifts Asher girls over Earlsboro

ASHER – Bailey Larman led Asher to a 50-30 home win over Earlsboro Tuesday night to advance the Lady Indians to 3-0 on the season. She had five two-point buckets, one tre and was 3-3 from the line where the girls shot 11-15 as a team.

Asher went into the half with a comfortable 21-6 lead and held out for the remainder.

Sarah Fleming had 12 points and was 2-2 from the charity stripe and Gracy Hadley was 5-6 and had 11 points. Braxten Frazier and Cheyenne Kauley each had two 3-pointers.

Frazier and Larman had seven boards and Frazier had seven assists.

Asher is at Wapanucka Friday as Earlsboro (1-3) heads to Glencoe.
