HARRAH – The Shawnee boys and girls swim teams each finished second place in their division and took second as a combined team Tuesday at Harrah. The home team won it all, obliterating Shawnee 1047-727.

The girls 200-yard medley relay team of Isabel Webb, Lauren Grein, Leticia Cervantes and Madeline Motley continued their win streak in the event with a time of 2:06.29 to best Harrah's 2:10.16 time and start things out on a high note. Cervantes, Grein, Webb and Jordyn Sateren won the 200 free relay in 1:51.87 and Motley, Sateren, Savannah Smith, Breeanna Lee took second in the 400 relay with a 4:29.20 time.

Cervantes went on to win the 200 individual medley in 2:30.32 and finished second in the 500 free with a time of 6:01.33, just behind Harrah's Rachel Reising at 5:59.61.

Grein won the 100 fly with a 1:11.15 time and Webb (27.63) took second in the 50 free. Lee (2:28.72) and Hadley (2:29.88) finished third and fourth in the 200 free and Webb (1:12.81) took second in the 100 back.

Brodie Morris took first in the boys 200-yard freestyle with a time of 2:07.97 as teammate Darren Pennington finished third at 2:21.11. Trent Ogden came in second in a group of 35 with a time of 24.39 in the 50 free, Morris (5:48.91) edged Westmoore's Landon Adamo (5:49.85) to win the 500 free race and Kiergan Gibson took second in the 100 breast with a time of 1:17.95, just behind Harrah's Cameron Black (1:17.87).

The swim team will travel to Rose State College Friday.
