The Shawnee swim team completed the Yukon Invitational last Saturday with a combined third place finish after the girls took third as a team and the boys took eighth.

The girls 200 medley relay team of Isabel Webb, Leticia Cervantes, Lauren Grein, and Jordyn Sateren finished second in their race with a time of 2:04.01 and the 200 yard freestyle relay team of Cervantes, Madeline Motley, Grein and Webb took third in a time of 1:52.14. Lee, Savannah Smith, Motley and Sateren took third in the 400 free relay even with a 4:27.83 finish.

Cervantes won the 500 freestyle with a time of 5:59.16, blowing out Ponca City's Shelby Lockwood's second place time of 6:19.85. Cervantes also won the 200 individual medley in 2:29.79.

Webb (27.46) finished fifth in a pool of 111 in the 50 freestyle and seventh in the 100 backstroke (1:11.26). Smith finished fourth in the 100-yard breaststroke in 1:26.36 and Grein (1:10.07) finished fourth in the 100 butterfly.

Trent Ogden finished fourth in the boys 50-yard freestyle event with a time of 23.83 and Ogden, Darren Pennington, Cade Mikish and Brodie Morris took fourth in the 200 free relay with a time of 1:43.54.
