STROTHER – Earlsboro staved off what would have been their first loss of the season Saturday in a 75-65 road win at Strother.

The Wildcats led 36-31 at the half but rallied ahead in the third with a 22-12 performance.

Trey Herron had 25 points to lead Earlsboro and Trenton Nadeau and Elijah Stargell each had 18. Nadeau hit six of his nine 3-point attempts to give the Wildcats a boost and Garrett Lena had six rebounds and six steals.

Strother's Bryce Conley led all scorers with 32 points and Dakota Roach had 12.

Earlsboro now holds a 17-0 record as the top-ranked team in Class B and will play the Allen JV team at 8:30 Monday night at North Rock Creek for their first game of the Pott County Tournament.
