Asher’s girls hit just 11 of their 34 field-goal attempts Tuesday in a 44-29 setback to Wetumka at the Pottawatomie County Invitational at North Rock Creek.

Bailey Larman was 5-of-8 from the field and 4-of-4 from the line while leading Asher with 14 points. Teammate Braxten Frazier was true on two 3-point field goals while finishing with seven points.

Asher was 9-of-26 from 2-point range and 2-of-8 from beyond the arc.

Gracy Hadley and Sarah Fleming pulled down nine rebounds apiece.

Asher committed 20 turnovers and was outscored 18-0 in the second quarter to trail 33-19 at halftime.

Asher will go up against the Wellston JV at 4 p.m. Friday in consolation action.
