ADA – Shawnee made a third quarter comeback but couldn't hold on in a 51-49 loss at 4A No. 19 Ada Tuesday.
The Wolves trailed 28-24 at the half but a 17-12 run in the third headlined by Chase Morris with eight points gave them a narrow 41-40 advantage going into the fourth. Ada got out to a 15-9 lead in the first to make things difficult for Shawnee from the start. The Wolves ruled the second 15-13 but the first quarter deficit was too much to recover from before the break.
