The Chieftains accumulated 17 steals with Jackson posting four. Stephens had five of Seminole’s 14 offensive rebounds.

“We missed some easy shots in the second quarter or we could have been in complete control at halftime,” Seminole coach Josh Edenborough said. “We turned it on in the third quarter, forcing some turnovers. We played some quality team ball in the second half.”

Trever Brinker and Adam Nance posted 9 points apiece for Seminole.

Preston Sam was Holdenville’s high scorer with 17.

Seminole will entertain Tecumseh Tuesday night.
