PITTSBURG, Kan. – A relay team met the NCAA Division II provisional standard and four top-10 finishes were registered by the Oklahoma Baptist men's team Saturday at the Pittsburg State Invitational.

All events took place at the Robert W. Plaster Center on the campus of Pittsburg State.

A team of Sayvon Milton, Dillon Phillips, Clayton Honeycutt and Shirvante Knauls met the provisional qualifying standard in the 4x400-meter relay at 3:16.50. The Bison finished sixth in the event.

The Bison distance medley relay team took first place in the event. Nathan Crowson, Brandon Crowley, Carlos James and Jacob Janzen finished in 10:07.86, over seven seconds ahead of the competition.

Phillips was third in the 800-meter run with a time of 1:54.28.

Spencer Lashley tied for fourth in the open section of the pole vault after clearing 14' 6.25" (4.43 meters).

The Bison return to the track on Feb. 3 in Norman at the J.D. Martin Invitational, hosted by the University of Oklahoma.
