PADEN – The top-ranked in Class B Wildcats of Earlsboro suffered their first loss of the season Saturday to end their untarnished streak at 21 after a 61-59 defeat at the hands of No. 6 Paden Saturday.
The teams were even throughout the night, but Paden won out the second quarter 15-14 to go into the half with a 34-33 advantage and outscored the Wildcats 18-17 in the fourth.
Elijah Stargell led all scorers with 28 points and 12 rebounds to finish with a double-double. Trey Herron had 10 points and Kaveon Sharp completed the game with seven.
CJ Gunns led Paden with 20 points and Luke Gunns had 18.
Earlsboro hosts Bowlegs tonight.
