SHAWNEE – The Great American Conference Monday selected Oklahoma Baptist point guard Vladimir Nemcok as men's basketball co-Player of the Week.

A senior from Slovakia, Nemcok averaged 28.5 points and seven assists per game last week in two games. He shot 55 percent from the field, including 42 percent from three-point range, and was 20 of 21 for 95 percent at the free throw line.

Nemcok also averaged 2.5 rebounds per game.

This is the second GAC Player of the Week selection for OBU. Chandler Rickey earned the honor Jan. 8. It is the first honor for Nemcok.
