The playoff brackets for Class 2A and higher schools were released Thursday as teams throughout the state look to extend their year in the offseason, beginning Feb. 22.

Class 6A

In the Class 6A, Shawnee will travel to Owasso as they look to extend their season. The Shawnee boys (8-12) will square off with No. 9 Norman (12-6) in their first regional game Friday, Feb. 23, at 6:30. The No. 14 Lady Wolves (17-3) will meet with No. 19 Sapulpa (17-3) at 6:30 Thursday, Feb. 22.

Class 4A

McLoud will travel to Ardmore for their opening of the post-season, Seminole will host Byng and Bethel will travel to Tulsa to face Central.

The McLoud girls (8-3) will have their hands full trying to take down No. 5 in 4A Ardmore (18-2) who is set to make a deep run in the state tournament and the Lady Chieftains (3-14) hosts 15-7 Byng.

The McLoud boys hold an 8-14 record as they prepare to take on No. 2 Ardmore, who is 15-5 on the season. No. 15 in 4A Seminole holds a 15-3 record and will face 10-12 Byng, who the Chieftains beat by 34 earlier in the year. Bethel (12-9) travels to No. 8 Central Tulsa (12-9) as they hope to extend their year.

Class 3A

Meeker plays host to Henreyetta in Class 3A and Prague will welcome challenger Vian.

The Meeker boys (11-10) are favored over 3-15 Henryetta and the Lady Bulldogs (10-11) should get by 1-16 Henryetta as well.

The 15-6 Prague boys will be the underdogs against No. 14 Vian (18-4) and the Lady Devils are expected to move on after facing a 7-15 Vian team.

Class 2A

Dale is set to host Rejoice Christian and Pawhuska where both Pirates squads are expected to move on from. The Dale teams should both receive byes into the district championship game where they will each face the winner of Rejoice and Pawhuska.
