LITTLE AXE — Behind 22 points from Anthony Billy and a double-double from Ryan Fullbright, Tecumseh outlasted Little Axe 73-60 Friday night to wrap up the regular season.
In going to 2-0 against Little Axe this season, Tecumseh held a 59-42 advantage after three quarters. Little Axe got as close as nine points before Tecumseh prevailed to move to 14-9 on the year.
Billy hit two 3-point field goals while Fullbright registered a double-double with 12 points and 13 rebounds.
Billy was 8 of 9 from the free-throw line and Tecumseh was accurate on 22-of-30 charities for 73.3 percent.,
“We did a really good job in the third quarter,” Tecumseh coach Eric Litherland said.
Tecumseh out-scored Little Axe 26-14 in the third quarter.
Kameron Permetter added eight points for Tecumseh.
Tecumseh will travel to Tulsa Metro Christian Saturday, Feb. 17 for a district matchup. Both the winner and loser of that game will advance.
