CHECOTAH — Tecumseh’s worst long-range shooting of the season came in their finale.

The Savages went 0 of 20 from 3-point range in bowing 69-48 to Checotah in a Class 4A regional elimination game Friday night.

Tecumseh concludes the year at 14-11.

The Savages were within 43-35 after three quarters but were outscored 26-13 down the stretch.

Jalen Fancher of Checotah recorded a game-high 24 points and teammate Caden Martin posted 10. Checotah was 3 of 13 past the 3-point line with Fancher achieving all three.

Anthony Billy was Tecumseh’s high scorer with 13. Zathan Bowman finished with 11 and Jayden Shafer came in with 7.

Concluding their prep basketball careers were seniors Kameron Permetter, Kullen Meadows, Ryan Fullbright and Bowman.
